About Dr. Starobinets

Dr. Julia Starobinets was born in Moscow, Russia and now lives in Bergen County, New Jersey with her husband and family.

She attended New York University, where she received a bachelor's degree in biology and minored in both math and computer science, and where she also did research in molecular biology and population genetics. She continued at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, graduating Valedictorian.

Dr. Starobinets completed a general practice residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY before returning to Columbia University for her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She attends continuing education conventions in order to stay current with recent advances in orthodontics.

Alongside her White Plains practice, Dr. Starobinets is on staff at White Plains & Larchmont Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, and is the founder of Bright Smile Orthodontics in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. Outside the office she enjoys traveling, tennis, downhill skiing and ballet.
