Stop Overpaying

One Prompt. That's It.

People are paying hundreds of dollars for things that take one prompt in Claude. That's not okay. I asked my followers to tell me what they're being charged for, and the response was overwhelming. Thousands of you wrote in. I couldn't answer every single one, but every question fell into one of a few categories. So I randomly selected a question from each category and gave you the full prompt. Find the category that fits your situation, adjust the prompt for what you need, and go build.

Job Search / Career

Shamisgalla.art: I'm having a person use ai to fix my resume and write a work cover and redo my LinkedIn for 150 using ai. can Claude do this?
Dr. Erin's Reply

You don't need to pay $150 for that. Here's how to do it yourself in Claude...takes 2 minutes:

Step 1: Open Claude. Click the Search & Tools icon, then '+ Add connectors,' and select Indeed from the list. It'll ask you to log in to Indeed.

Step 2: Paste this one prompt:

"Use my Indeed connector to search for 5 [TARGET ROLE] jobs in [YOUR CITY]. Pull the job descriptions, required skills, and keywords from each listing. Now I'm going to paste my current resume below. Using what you found on Indeed, (1) Rewrite my resume to be ATS-optimized to match the specific skills and keywords these employers are asking for, with quantified achievements and strong action verbs, (2) Write a tailored cover letter for the top listing that connects my experience to what they're looking for, and (3) Rewrite my LinkedIn headline, About section, and Experience section to position me as a top candidate for these roles. Here's my current resume: [PASTE RESUME]"

That's your resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn tailored to real jobs hiring right now.

B2B Sales / Outreach

drrhonda_anderson: Find verified B2B business leads for companies with 2000 or less employees and cold email outreach sequence to add appointments to my calendar.
Dr. Erin's Reply

Here's one prompt, 3 steps:

Step 1: Open Claude. Click Search & Tools, then '+ Add connectors,' and add Vibe Prospecting. It has a free tier to start.

Step 2: Before you run the prompt, have these ready: a one paragraph description of what you do and who you help, and your calendar booking link.

Step 3: Paste this prompt:

"Use my Vibe Prospecting connector to find 25 verified B2B contacts at companies with 2,000 or fewer employees in [YOUR TARGET INDUSTRY]. I need company name, contact name, title, email, and company size. Then research each company and write me a personalized 3-email cold outreach sequence for each lead. Email 1: Reference something specific about their company that connects to a problem I solve. Teach them something they probably don't know about that problem. Include my calendar link at the end. Email 2: Share a different insight relevant to their industry or company size. Something that makes them rethink how they're currently doing things. Include my calendar link at the end. Email 3: Give them an actionable tip they can use right now, whether they book a call or not. Something with a specific number or result attached to it. Include my calendar link at the end. Here is what I do: [PASTE YOUR ONE PARAGRAPH DESCRIPTION]. Here is my calendar link: [PASTE YOUR BOOKING LINK]. Keep each email under 150 words. Subject lines should be curiosity-driven, not salesy."

Content Creation / Book Writing

flemming_ul: I want to write books about management.. what would be the prompt or tools to do that?
Dr. Erin's Reply

Thanks for the compliment. Here's a full workflow with one prompt.

Step 1: Start by downloading 3 to 5 of the best management books in your space. Upload them into NotebookLM or Claude. I'd go with NotebookLM personally. Have it analyze the structure, pacing, how chapters open and close, where stories go versus frameworks. That becomes your blueprint.

Step 2: Get a trial of Wispr Flow. It lets you speak instead of type. Go for a walk, talk through your ideas, tell your stories. That's how your real voice ends up in the book.

Step 3: Then paste this into Claude:

"Create a skill for writing my management book. I'm going to give you the structural analysis from my research on successful books in my space. Save that as the framework we follow. When I trigger this skill, check my progress file to see where we left off, then interview me about the next section. Use my words and my stories as the foundation. Push back if something doesn't align with the evidence. Update the progress file after every session."

You feed it the research, it learns the structure, and every session is just you talking and Claude building around your voice. I'd probably have it save the chapters on my desktop and do this in the COWORK tab which can be found in Claude desktop version.

Dr. Erin's Reply

Open Claude Desktop. Click into the Cowork tab. Upload your bank and credit card statements.

Government Contracts

Rob Davis: I want a prompt to assist me with government contracts and helping as an AI assistant. Thanks.
Dr. Erin's Reply

This is a full workflow, not one prompt. Set this up in Claude Cowork.

Step 1: Create a free account on SAM.gov.

Step 2: Install Claude in Chrome from the Chrome Web Store (requires a paid Claude plan).

Step 3: Open Cowork. Sign into SAM.gov in your browser, then paste this into Cowork tab:

"Use Claude in Chrome to go to SAM.gov and search Contract Awards in my industry. Find contracts awarded in the last 12 months. Analyze the winning patterns: what size companies, what NAICS codes, what contract types, what set asides, what past performance. Flag what the winners had in common."

Step 4: Once Claude flags what matters, paste this:

"Now interview me. Based on the winning patterns you found, ask me about my business, my certifications, my past performance, my team, my NAICS codes, and anything else I need to be competitive. I'll upload my capabilities statement and any past proposals. Save everything to a folder on my Desktop called Gov Contract Profile so you always have it."

Step 5: Set up a weekly check. Paste this:

"Set up a scheduled task that runs every Monday. Check SAM.gov for new contract opportunities matching my profile. Send me a summary of what's new, what's due soon, and which ones I'm a strong fit for."

Step 6: When you're ready to bid:

"Pull my Gov Contract Profile. Here's the opportunity: [paste solicitation]. Write my proposal based on what's winning and what you know about me."

Set it up once, bid smarter every time.

Legal / PDF Automation

jfc495: Streamlining legal workflows - PDF form automation
Dr. Erin's Reply

Here's how to set this up:

Step 1: Save all your blank PDF templates (intake forms, retainer agreements, court filings, whatever you use) into one folder on your Desktop. Name it something like "Legal Templates."

Step 2: Open Claude, go to Cowork mode.

Step 3: Select that "Legal Templates" folder as your working folder.

Step 4: Paste this prompt:

"I have a folder of blank legal PDF form templates. Look through them and learn what fields each form needs. Create a skill for me so that when I have a new client, I trigger the skill, you ask me for the client's details based on what my forms actually require, you fill in every relevant template, and you save the completed forms in a new folder named after the client."

Claude reads your forms, figures out the fields, and builds the skill. From that point on, every new client is one command.

Advertising / Meta Ads

tommiesjerk: There a FIFA WORLD MATCH in my city and I want to invite tourist to stop by our restaurant
Dr. Erin's Reply

Four steps, all in Claude:

Step 1: Install the Claude in Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store.

Step 2: In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors. Add the Pipeboard Meta Ads connector and the Canva connector. Connect your Facebook Ads account and your Canva account.

Step 3: Paste this prompt:

"Search the Meta Ad Library for restaurant and food business ads that have been running for 3 months or more in cities that host major sporting events or attract tourists. Find 5 ads with creatives that are clearly working. Then use Canva to create 3 ad variations for my restaurant modeled after those winning creatives. My restaurant is called [YOUR RESTAURANT NAME] in [YOUR CITY] and the FIFA World Cup is coming to my city. Each ad should target tourists coming for the matches. Make each variation slightly different so I can test which performs best. Then set up a campaign in my Meta Ads account with 3 ad sets using these creatives, $10 budget on each, targeting tourists and visitors in my city."

Step 4: Run for 24 hours. Come back and ask Claude to pull the performance data. Put your full budget behind the winning ad.

Research what works. Copy what works. Test. Scale the winner.

Business Operations / Bakery Planning

pauslove1: How can I build a no-code automated system that collects weekly sales and inventory data, calculates production needs using recipe-based logic, and generates a weekly production plan and ingredient purchasing list for a Bakery?
Dr. Erin's Reply

In Claude, say:

"Build me a single-file HTML app for a bakery production planner with 3 sample bakery recipes already loaded. I need: (1) A recipe manager where I add each product and its exact ingredients and quantities, (2) A current inventory section where I enter what I have on hand, (3) A weekly sales section where I enter how many of each product I sold, (4) A Calculate button that projects next week's production needs, automatically deducts ingredients used from my inventory, and generates a purchasing list showing what I need to buy. Save everything in the browser so my data is still there when I come back."

Save the file to your computer and open it in your browser and that's your whole bakery planning system. If you want your team to access it too, drag the file to netlify.com/drop and it's live on the web in 10 seconds.
